What would you do if you got a call from someone from the past? This movie tells a story about two people who lived in different times. Seo-Yeon lives in the present and Young-Sook lives in the past. One phone call connects the two, and their lives are changed irrevocably.
Everything starts when Seo-Yeon lost her phone when he finally decides to come back to visit her mother who a diagnosed with cancer. Once she arrived at the old mansion, she got a call from a house phone and then everything started. Young-Sook who lives in the past has manipulated Seo-Yeon mind. Seo-Yeon believed that Young-Sook was the victim of domestic violence by her mother feeding her information how to save her life from her mother. Young-Sook's mom is a shaman who can see the future, isolates Young-Sook from the outside world, and cruel to her.
What catches my attention is that whatever changes in the past, the present life also will be changing. Either their lives getting better or getting worse. This psychological thriller film really makes me glued to the chair. It's complicated but at some point is also straightforward. What I can say is I hate it when I think everything is finally over and they suddenly roll up the credits which SHOULD NOT be there that takes your breath away.
